I’d much prefer the spelling adaline over adeline, i hate the nicknames adele, della, addie but love ada (rhymes with ava), but would adaline be too problematic? I love the namesakes that [name_f]ada [/name_f] bring in. I feel like i have looked at every name on the planet and i’m driving my husband insane. With my first, we chose her name and that was it, i never had the urge to.

We also prefer [name_f]adeline [/name_f] as a full name and that is what she normally gets called, but with her brother reaching talking age, a nn is bound to appear. Though on second thought [name_f]isabel [/name_f] and [name_f]adeline [/name_f] might go better with.
